There are award nights, and then there are award nights where cars are spotlighted like divas and dealers applaud like they have stocks in the company. Chery Australia staged its inaugural Dealer of the Year gala at Doltone House in Sydney, handing out trophies to the dealers who did the hard work of selling cars, keeping customers happy, and generally making the brand look competent.

The Big Winner
After a thorough review of sales, service and customer care, Chery Caroline Springs walked off with the top honour as national Dealer of the Year for 2025, which is the sort of accolade that gets you a permanent smile and possibly the best spot in the next brochure.

There was more to celebrate than just one trophy. Three dealers were inducted into the Chery 1000 Club for shifting more than 1,000 vehicles in the year: Chery Victoria Park, Chery Wangara and Chery South Morang earned that particular glory.
Regional Stars And The Best Of The Best
The awards also handed regional crowns to dealers across five zones, with Chery Springwood taking the northern title, Chery Blacktown the eastern, Chery Caroline Springs the southern, Chery Morphett Vale the central, and Chery Bunbury the western region. It is a tidy way to spread the honours and keep everyone motivated.
Five Platinum dealers were declared the best of the best for sales and customer experience, including Chery Caroline Springs, Chery Ferntree Gully, Chery Bunbury, Chery Springwood and Chery Blacktown. A further ten Gold dealers were recognised for outstanding performance, among them Chery Melton, Chery Taree, Chery Moorooka, Chery Roxburgh Park, Chery Southport, Chery Morphett Vale, Chery Macarthur, Chery Fawkner, Chery Sutherland and Chery Dandenong.

The company was quick to point out that these dealers are the face of the brand in Australia, and that their professionalism and focus on customer experience are major reasons Chery continues to grow in the market. Which, if you sell lots of cars and keep customers smiling, is a fair and useful thing to point out.
The ceremony was more than a photo opportunity. It underlined Chery’s push to recognise and reward its retail partners while supporting continued growth across the country. In short, trophies were handed out, egos were polished, and Chery left the room looking like a brand with momentum.
