The Intensa Special Series has arrived and it is not mucking about. Fifty cars in total, parceled out as ten Tonale, ten Stelvio and thirty Giulia models. Think of them as little rolling trophies, all dressed up in signature golden details that shout exclusivity without needing to shout. This is Italian design given a nudge toward celebration, with heritage cues and a focus on finesse rather than flash.

Exterior Highlights

The styling leans into the brand’s pedigree with tasteful golden accents across the bodywork, two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels and black brake calipers with light gold detailing to match. Wheel sizes are chosen to suit each car: 19-inch on the Giulia and 20-inch on the Tonale and Stelvio. Side mirrors carry subtle Italian flag emblems and every car comes with a sunroof, while Stelvio and Giulia enjoy a dual-pane roof for added drama. Colour choices are limited and deliberate to flatter the gold trim. The Tonale comes in Alfa Black, Alfa Red and Montreal Green. Stelvio and Giulia are offered in Vulcano Black, Etna Red and Montreal Green.

Interior Refinements

Inside the Intensa line, refinement is the order of the day. All models feature front headrests embroidered with the brand logo in tan, a two-tone steering wheel with tan accents and contrast stitching, and Intensa wording embroidered on the front centre armrest with heat-embossed detailing on the inner side panels of the front seats. The Tonale receives premium Alcantara seats with anthracite grey backing and tan stitching and debuts a rotary shifter in this market. Giulia and Stelvio are trimmed in leather with tan backing and matching stitched accents across the dash, doors and central armrest. It feels considered, not gaudy.

Performance And Technology

Under the skin, the Intensa models get suspension upgrades aimed at sharpening both composure and poise. The Tonale uses a Dual-Stage Valve system to balance comfort with responsiveness, while Stelvio and Giulia are fitted with Synaptic Dynamic Control suspension for sharper handling and greater precision. All cars are equipped with Level 2 Active Driving Assist technology to bolster safety and driver confidence, so they are as clever as they are handsome.

Availability And Pricing

This is a very small run. Only 10 Tonale, 10 Stelvio and 30 Giulia units are available nationwide. Pricing is as follows: Tonale Intensa starts from $69,990, Giulia Intensa from $84,990 and Stelvio Intensa from $94,490. MSRP includes GST and LCT where applicable, and excludes on-road costs and dealer delivery.

Model Specifications

Tonale Intensa is powered by a 1.5 MHEV engine producing 117 kW, paired to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and front-wheel drive. Its starting price is $69,990.

Giulia Intensa uses a 2.0 turbo engine with 206 kW, an 8-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, with a starting price of $84,990.

Stelvio Intensa features the 2.0 turbo 206 kW engine, an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, starting from $94,490.

A short note on lineage: the Intensa Special Series continues a story that stretches back over a century, marrying technical innovation with sporty character. These fifty cars are less about mass market appeal and more about offering a very specific, refined experience to a select few.
