Geely Hits 10,000 Deliveries And Opens New Sydney Dealership
01
It is official: Geely has hit 10,000 vehicle deliveries in Australia and, while they were at it, opened a shiny new dealership in Sydney’s south. Not bad for a brand that only began its local charge 14 months ago.

The numbers are the sort that make rivals glance at their spreadsheets and curse quietly. Geely passed 5,000 deliveries in its first nine months and then doubled that in under five months to reach 10,000. The momentum shows up in the charts too, with the EX5 sitting as the second-best-selling battery electric vehicle in April and the Starray EM-i claiming third among plug-in hybrids in the same month.
Why buyers are voting with their wallets
One family of five, after doing the sensible thing and researching thoroughly, chose the EX5 Inspire in Jungle Green. The reasons were predictably sensible: roomy cabin, smart tech, premium feel and an extended EV range that takes the anxiety out of longer trips. In short: practical, polished and not awkward to live with.
The brand says the milestone reflects growing customer confidence and a firm commitment to the Australian market. The new showroom joins a network of more than 60 outlets nationwide, each set up to carry buyers from their first test drive through to ownership and servicing.
Deals, chargers and other enticements
To keep the momentum, Geely is running an end-of-financial-year offer: a 0.88% comparison rate over a 36-month term with no minimum deposit, no establishment fee and no repayment fees. Buyers of the EX5 and the Starray EM-i Inspire Extended Range will also receive a complimentary 7kW single-phase home EV charger, installation not included.
For a brief corporate pause, Geely Auto Group is a global automaker headquartered in Hangzhou, China, and part of Zhejiang Geely Holding. In 2025 the group reported cumulative sales north of three million vehicles worldwide, with new energy vehicle sales making up a rapidly growing slice of that total.
In short: more cars on the road, more dealers on the map and a few more home chargers to unplug every evening. That is growth you can measure with a speedo.
