Triton Raider Costs $74,990 And Comes Ready To Rumble
Meet the Triton Raider: Mitsubishi’s new range-topper, priced at a driveaway $74,990 and rolling into dealerships in June 2026. It looks like a ute that means business and, crucially, it has been tuned to cope with Australia’s moodiest roads.
Engineered For Australian Conditions
Built from the 26MY Triton GSR and finished by Australian engineering firm Premcar, the Raider gets a proper second-stage makeover. A bespoke damper package with an internal rebound spring up front, new front springs and a jounce bumper combine to improve wheel control. The YAMAHA Performance Damper from the GSR is retained to keep noise and vibration in check, so the ride is more composed on rough surfaces.
Wheels, Tyres And Stance
The Raider sits on Bridgestone AT002 all-terrain tyres mounted to heavy-duty ROH 18-inch Assault alloys finished in brushed bronze with Raider hub caps. The tyre and wheel package raises front ride height by 25mm (10mm from springs, 15mm from wheels) and the rear by 15mm, while the tracks are widened by 20mm for a firmer, more planted stance.
Looks That Do Work
Design tweaks are functional and loud: Sandstorm side decals picked out in brushed bronze, Dark Warm Grey front garnish, red inserts on the side protection and sports bar, and a strengthened underbody protector finished in red with Raider lettering. The bed gets a spray-in liner and Mitsubishi embossing for real-world durability.
Cabin Upgrades
Inside, the Raider carries the GSR’s equipment list and adds bespoke touches: black leather seats with orange contrast stitching, Raider-embroidered front headrests and a Raider badge on the centre console. The cabin keeps up with modern infotainment and creature comforts.
Mitsubishi packages the Triton range with a 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage program: long-term warranty cover, capped-price servicing and extended roadside assistance for eligible customers.
Short version: $74,990 driveaway, Australian-finished engineering, tougher stance, purpose-built underbody protection and a cabin that punches above its weight. If you want a pickup that has been properly fettled for real roads, the Raider deserves a test drive.
