Volkswagen has rolled out a new special edition Touareg, and if you like your luxury with a hint of “look at me” this might be for you. Priced from $124,990 RRP, the Touareg 210TDI Wolfsburg Edition adds a neat bundle of styling and creature comforts to mark the final year of this generation.
Signature Wolfsburg Styling
The Wolfsburg badge, that wolf and castle emblem, appears on the tailgate as a quiet nod to Volkswagen’s roots. The visual package goes further with 21-inch Black Leeds alloy wheels and a blacked-out treatment for the roof rails, window surrounds, grille, front and rear bumper accents, and mirror caps. It is a subtle, purposeful darkening that suits the Touareg’s large, confident stance.
Luxury Features As Standard
On the inside and above the roofline, the Wolfsburg Edition brings a panoramic sunroof, heated rear outboard seats, a Dynaudio Consequence sound system and a head-up display. Comfort systems include four-zone climate control, power door latching, passenger seat memory and an electrically adjustable steering column with driver memory. It reads like a shopping list for anyone who likes technology to do the thinking.
Colours And Options
Two metallic paints are included as standard: Silicon Grey and Grenadilla Black. Meloe Blue premium metallic can be added for $700, while Oryx White, a special pearlescent finish exclusive to the Wolfsburg Edition, is a $2,000 option. Where It Sits In The Range
The Touareg 210TDI Wolfsburg Edition replaces the 210TDI R-Line in the line-up. All Touaregs currently in production for Australia will carry “Final Edition” interior appliques, covering the 170TDI, 210TDI Elegance and the flagship R. Despite the cosmetic updates and interior flourishes, towing capacity remains a serious 3.5 tonne for the range.

Volkswagen positions the Wolfsburg Edition alongside the Touareg R as the headline models of this generation, offering heightened exclusivity and additional luxury as production winds down. The company also points out that its Australian SUV range is broader than ever, from compact T-Cross and T-Roc models up through Tiguan, ID.4 and ID.5, the seven-seat Tayron and the Touareg itself. The Touareg 210TDI Wolfsburg Edition will arrive in dealerships nationwide from March 2026.
