Ford Australia is expanding the Ranger Super Duty range with a Pick-Up body style and a new XLT premium series for the MY26.5 update, due mid-2026. The Pick-Up adds a factory-fitted tub without surrendering the headline numbers that matter: 4500 kg towing capacity, 4500 kg GVM and an 8000 kg GCM. Manufacturer’s List Prices start from $93,990.

Pick-Up Body Style: Workhorse Meets Weekend Warrior

For the first time the Super Duty will be offered as a Pick-Up, giving buyers the brute strength of the cab-chassis variants with the practicality of a factory tub. It keeps the core heavy-duty credentials intact: 4500 kg GVM, 8000 kg GCM and a 4500 kg braked towing capacity, underpinned by 154 kW at 3250 rpm and 600 Nm at 1750 rpm. The Pick-Up also adopts the widened 1710 mm track and an 850 mm water-wading capability, so it should be perfectly at home hauling a work trailer one week and ferrying camping gear the next.

XLT Adds Touring-Focused Refinement

The XLT grade is aimed at buyers who want rugged capability with a touch of civility for long-distance travel. Available on Double Cab Cab-Chassis and Double Cab Pick-Up variants, XLT brings Super Duty branded 18-inch 8-stud alloy wheels, leather-accented heated and ventilated front seats, leather-accented rear seats, carpet flooring and front all-weather mats. It is pitched squarely at recreational off-roaders and touring drivers who expect comfort without compromising payload and towing.

Pricing And Line-Up Details

The three new MY26.5 offerings are priced as follows: Double Cab Pick-Up from $93,990, Double Cab Cab-Chassis XLT from $95,990 and Double Cab Pick-Up XLT from $99,990. Existing Single Cab Cab-Chassis, Super Cab Cab-Chassis and Double Cab Cab-Chassis prices remain unchanged. More detailed weights and dimensions, including payload and ground clearance figures, will be provided closer to arrival.

New Colour And Factory Options

A new exterior colour called Traction Green joins the palette as an optional Prestige Paint choice, available across the range for $750. Ford is also offering a selection of factory-fitted options to enhance the Pick-Up’s versatility, including an 8.9-inch digital rear view mirror, an Aeroklas twin in-bed drawer system and both commercial and stylish canopy choices with Lift & Slide or Dual Lift side configurations.

Additional factory options and indicative prices include prestige paint for $750, carpet flooring for $1,500, rock sliders for $1,850, a dual battery system for $1,850 and wheel nut indicators for $150. A digital rear view mirror and the Aeroklas twin in-bed drawer system are each offered at $1,250 when ordered with a canopy. Stylish canopies are listed around $4,500 to $4,700 depending on specification, with commercial canopy options similarly available. Availability of certain options varies by body style and will be confirmed closer to launch.
