Black Ops 6: Reckoning High Rounds Guide
So, you’ve loaded up The Reckoning and decided you’re not stopping until your controller battery dies or your eyes start twitching. Fair enough. This map has its quirks, but once you know the right setup and a few key moves, you can push well into the triple digits without losing your sanity.
Here’s the play-by-play for surviving the madness.
Step 1: Get the Gorgofex N

First things first, you want the green variant of the wonder weapon, the Gorgofex N. If you don’t have it yet, follow this quick guide (seriously, it’s lightning fast) and get yourself armed.
Why? Because this thing is your ticket to thinning the horde without breaking a sweat. Charge up your shot, then spam away when those Doppelgas start crowding your personal space.
Step 2: Keep a Shock Charge Handy
The Shock Charge is your best friend in the later rounds. When the screen fills with enemies and your breathing gets shallow, toss one down. You’ll stun the incoming crowd, giving you just enough breathing room to reload, sip water, and question your life choices.
Step 3: Handling the Uber Klaus
Eventually, you’ll run into the Uber Klaus, the big bad of the map. Here’s how to ruin his day:
- Equip the Void Knife for the main fight
- Expect his minion to survive longer than your patience (you won’t drop him instantly)
- Keep Mutant Injection in your back pocket for emergencies
If you prefer some old-school carnage, the Death Machine is also a solid pick for melting this guy. And if things go south, there’s a handy shooting spot, a little hole where you can funnel bullets and wipe out spawns without much risk.
Step 4: Your Safety Net – Mutant Injection & Ether Shroud
Even the best runs can turn into chaos. Keep Mutant Injection ready to muscle through sticky situations, and remember your Ether Shroud is your instant “nope” button when you’re boxed in.
Step 5: Crafting Table Access
You’ll want to keep the crafting table location in mind. It’s a quick hop away for restocking Mutant Injections or grabbing a Death Machine between rounds.
Step 6: General Flow of a Round
Here’s what a typical high-round loop looks like:
- Start outside for a few bonus kills near the spawn area on the right.
- Move into your main holdout spot.
- When overwhelmed, toss a Shock Charge to reset the fight.
- Keep firing and cycling abilities.
- Rinse, repeat, climb the leaderboard.
It’s not exactly a Zen garden, expect it to get hectic, but you can camp this out for quite a while with the right rhythm.
Final Tip
Stay calm, keep your tools charged, and don’t be afraid to take a breather between rounds. The Reckoning rewards patience as much as it does aggression.
Good luck, soldier, see you in the high-round club.
