How to Get the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6 Zombies – Reckoning DLC

If you have been diving into Black Ops 6 Zombies’ latest DLC, Reckoning, you might have already heard whispers about the brand new wonder weapon Gorgofex. It is finally here, and while it is not the trickiest Easter egg we have ever seen, it is definitely one of the most entertaining to complete.

This guide will walk you through exactly how to unlock it, step-by-step, with a mix of solid tips and a little excitement.

Step 1 – Open the Map and Pack-a-Punch

Before anything else, you will need to get Pack-a-Punch online. Head up to the top of the second tower, activate the particle accelerator, and you are good to go. Without this, you cannot start the upgrade process for Gorgofex.

Step 2 – Visit the T1 Mutant Research Lab

Once Pack-a-Punch is running, make your way to the T1 Mutant Research Lab. Inside, you will find two flashing computers:

• One behind Richtofen’s family.
• One to the left of Deadshot.

Each screen will display a random word in green text. The trick is to take the first letter from each word and try to match it to an element from the periodic table.

Example: In one run, the words were Bellose and Porative. That gives you “B” and “P”, which does not match any element. But swap them to “P” and “B” and you get Lead (Pb), which has an atomic number of 82.

Step 3 – Create the Three Digit Code

Once you have your element and its atomic number, add a zero at the start if it is not already three digits.

• For example, Pb = 82 becomes 082.

Take this code to the top of the lab to open a locked door to the secret lab.

Step 4 – Vermin and Zombie Collection

Inside the secret lab, start shooting zombies. Occasionally, a vermin will spawn from one.

• Lead the vermin to the test tube.
• Weaken it until it is sucked into the portal.

Repeat for three vermin, then do the same for three zombies. Once complete, you can pick up the cyst from the test tube.

Step 5 – Siphon Energy from Ether Trees

Take your cyst to the Quantum Computing Lab. Here, you will find three ether trees. When you are close to one, the cyst will start absorbing the yellow plant energy. Completely drain each tree, all three are in the same area.

Once done, the cyst will evolve in your inventory.

Step 6 – The T2 Dark Entity Containment Room

Now for one of the best Easter egg steps in COD Zombies history. Head to the T2 Dark Entity Containment Room.

• Activate four computers in quick succession, they are all on the main floor.
• When done correctly, electricity will blast into the Forsaken containment ball, summoning an Uber Klaus.

Destroy both of its shoulder pads, then lure it onto the pressure plate in front of the Forsaken. It will be electrocuted, possessed, and transformed into an HVT.

Step 7 – Claim the Gorgofex

Defeat the HVT and collect the blood it drops. Combine this with your cyst to spawn the Gorgofex wonder weapon right in front of you.

And there you have it, one of the coolest quests in Call of Duty Zombies history, complete with an epic fusion of the Forsaken and an Uber Klaus.

While there are still two other variants of Gorgofex to be discovered, this base version is an absolute blast to use. It is not overly complex once you have done it once, and the payoff is well worth it.
