iRobot has unveiled its most intelligent and powerful cleaning robot yet, the Roomba Max 705 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock, now available for pre-order in Australia and New Zealand. Designed for busy households, this flagship 2-in-1 vacuum and mop delivers heated mopping, advanced AI-powered object detection and a carpet-saving mop cover for a truly hands-free clean.
At the core of the Roomba Max 705 Combo is the PowerSpin Roller Mop with PerfectEdge, which extends into corners and is continuously cleaned during use. A new protective mop cover automatically activates to prevent water from reaching carpets. The system also includes ClearView Pro LiDAR and PrecisionVision AI to map the home in 3D and avoid common obstacles like toys, cords and pet waste.
The robot pairs with iRobot’s AutoWash Dock, which handles up to 75 days of cleaning without manual intervention. The dock automatically empties the vacuum, washes and dries the mop with heat, cleans itself and refills water as needed.
With 175 times the suction power compared to the Roomba 600 Series¹, the Max 705 Combo tackles everyday mess with ease. Dual anti-tangle rubber brushes and edge-sweeping brushes work together to lift debris from all surfaces. Users can control the robot via the iRobot Home App or through voice assistants like Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant. Cleaning tasks can be scheduled by room, object or floor type, with no-go zones and personalised settings available in the app.
