Schedule 1 is a game that throws you straight into a gritty world where managing your finances, items, and space becomes a crucial part of your operation. As players progress, one thing becomes clear pretty quickly: you’ll accumulate furniture, and not all of it will be useful. Whether it’s a surplus bed, a extra pot, or just stuff you no longer want cluttering up your motel room, the question arises—what can you actually do with extra furniture?

Unfortunately, if you’re looking to sell furniture in Schedule 1, you’re in for a bit of disappointment—at least for now.

The Harsh Truth: You Can’t Sell… Yet

Currently, there’s no in-game mechanic that allows you to sell your unwanted furniture and reclaim any of your hard-earned cash. Despite the game’s heavy emphasis on survival, budgeting, and hustling, there’s still no marketplace or buyback feature for used items. So if you’re holding out hope that you can sell furniture in Schedule 1 today, you’ll have to put that on pause.

So What Can You Do With Unwanted Furniture?

Right now, your only option is to discard it. Here’s how you can remove furniture from your inventory or space:

  1. Pick up the furniture you want to get rid of by holding Right Click.
  2. Press Tab to bring up your in-game phone interface.
  3. Drag the furniture item all the way to the right of your screen.
  4. Place the item in the box labelled “Discard.”
  5. Wait a few seconds, and the item will vanish.

While it’s not the most glamorous or rewarding method, it does at least allow you to free up space in your room or inventory.

Is There Hope on the Horizon?

Here’s where things get interesting. If you’ve walked around the map, particularly near the motel, you may have noticed a pawn shop—complete with signage that indicates you’ll be able to sell items there. At the moment, this location isn’t functional.

However, its presence hints at future gameplay updates. The developers have clearly included this as a potential feature, and it aligns perfectly with the game’s economy-focused design. Once activated, this could finally allow players to sell furniture in Schedule 1 for some form of return, making inventory management a lot more strategic and rewarding.

Final Thoughts

While there’s currently no way to sell furniture in Schedule 1, the mechanics are evolving. For now, the only viable route is to discard unwanted items manually using the in-game phone interface. Still, with a pawn shop already placed in the world, the possibility of a resale system feels like it’s just around the corner.

So hold on to those extra bits and pieces—maybe stash them in a room you’re not using—because the ability to sell furniture in Schedule 1 might just be part of the next big update.

Stay sharp, stay organised, and keep an eye on that pawn shop door.
