  1. HeadBox 3D Studio is described as a groundbreaking tool for the events and hospitality industry. Can you tell us more about the inspiration behind developing this software and how it addresses the unique challenges faced by venues and hotels today?

The inspiration for 3D Studio was born around 6 months ago from one of our UK team’s venue partners, Radisson Hotel Group, who wanted to partner with HeadBox for their global digital transformation. HeadBox has shot over 100 3D models for the hotel group globally, so we wanted to look at how we could further evolve our 3D immersive tours and provide a stronger connection between event bookers and venues. 

The idea for this product developed into how we can support our venues in speeding up their sales cycles and attracting a wider audience nationally and internationally. We listened to the challenges faced by our venue partners which included a lack of time and resources for site visits so we wanted to provide a solution that allowed them to do more with less. After producing this product and seeing the success of Radisson Hotel Group globally, we launched this into the Australian market.

  1. You mentioned that HeadBox 3D Studio allows for personalised digital proposals with 3D tours and AI-generated narrator videos. How do you envision this transforming the customer experience for both venues and their clients?

Our primary goal for this product was to strengthen the relationship between clients and venues. Often our clients who are seeking a venue for their event need to get these approved by multiple stakeholders. They want to see each space where the event will be held and envision how the event will look, feel and flow. HeadBox 3D Studio allows venues to create bespoke tours, based on the event requirements in minutes which can be shared with their potential clients with one shareable link. Clients can explore the venue from the comfort of their desk which is a great solution for those who are based inter-state or internationally. This significantly reduces the amount of time it takes for the client to get the venue signed off by their key stakeholders resulting in a quicker sales cycle for the venue.

By offering content in multiple languages, venues can effectively communicate with international clients in their native language, making their marketing materials and event proposals more engaging and culturally tailored. This feature not only elevates the venue’s brand by showcasing its commitment to inclusivity but also has the potential to boost sales by attracting a broader audience. Additionally, for Australian venues, this multilingual capability can drive international tourism, as it enables them to cater to and attract international customers more efficiently.

  1. HeadBox 3D Studio offers a unique way to create immersive and engaging proposals with 3D tours and AI-generated narrations. How do you think this will change the traditional sales process for venues and hotels, and what kind of feedback have you received from early adopters?

HeadBox 3D Studio provides venues with a competitive advantage against other venues. The product not only shows that the venue is ahead of the curb when it comes to innovative sales and marketing techniques but it highlights their commitment to creating a personalised experience for potential clients. The first venue partner, who sparked the idea to develop this product, Radisson Hotel Group saw an increase in meeting and event enquiries by 35% and their conversation rate grew by 12% with HeadBox 3D Studio. HeadBox 3D Studio has not only allowed the hotel group to level up their digital transformation but also ensured that the customer experience remained at the forefront.

  1. Looking ahead, how do you see the integration of technology like HeadBox 3D Studio influencing the future of event planning and management? Are there any other innovations we can expect from HeadBox in the near future?

I think the integration of technology into the events industry will boost the number of extraordinary in-person and virtual events hosted around the world. As consumers continue to evolve with technology, the events industry must continue to evolve with it. Event bookers are turning to the Internet as their first point of research for their event, we want to ensure that our venue partners are in the best possible position to attract those bookers and convert the sales. As for upcoming innovations from HeadBox, we have a huge focus on sustainability. We will soon be releasing HeadBox Zero, a suite of sustainability products that will provide clients with information on venue sustainability measures and will allow clients to measure their event carbon emissions. HeadBox will then be able to provide support to clients to offset these emissions.
