Amflow’s entry into the eMTB scene is marked by the Amflow PL, which delivers a robust 850 W peak power while maintaining a feather-light weight of 19.2 kg. “We have seen a lot of tech innovation that has never found its way into the eMTB scene,” stated Peter Archer, Senior Product Specialist at Amflow. “By combining our tech expertise with our passion for mountain biking, we introduce the Amflow PL, an eMTB designed to transform any terrain into a rider’s playground.”

The Amflow PL features an ultra-light carbon fibre frame, weighing only 2.27 kg, engineered for superior performance on any terrain. The heart of this bike is the DJI Avinox Drive System, which integrates advanced software and hardware technologies. This system includes a compound planetary gearset that offers an impressive 105 Nm torque and 850 W peak power from a drive unit weighing just 2.52 kg.
Innovative Riding Assistance
The DJI Avinox Drive System offers several advanced assistance modes. Its Auto mode adjusts assistance in real-time based on road conditions and riding posture, making it easier to navigate diverse terrains. For challenging trails, the Boost mode delivers 120 Nm of torque and 1000 W power, enabling effortless climbs on steep inclines. Additionally, the bike features Walk mode for easy incline traversal, Auto Hold to prevent rollback, and Hill Start Assist for smooth starts on slopes.
Fast Charging and Long-Lasting Battery
Equipped with a high-capacity battery weighing 2.87 kg, the Amflow PL ensures a substantial range. The 12A/508W GaN fast charger can recharge the battery from 0% to 75% in just 1.5 hours, and the battery health management system guarantees durability, maintaining 80% capacity after 500 charge-discharge cycles.
Superior Handling and Customisation
The Amflow PL’s frame design incorporates cutting-edge geometry, providing a balanced performance that is both lightweight and highly agile. The frame is compatible with both 27.5” and 29” rear wheels, allowing riders to choose between smoother rides or increased agility. A four-bar linkage structure enhances pedalling efficiency, while a co-tuned rear shock from FOX filters out minor vibrations and supports high-speed impacts.

Bluetooth-enabled wireless controllers offer greater control during rides. The Avinox App enables riders to customise riding parameters, activate anti-theft mode, and remotely locate the bike. Comprehensive data recording and metric sharing with apps like Strava enhance the overall biking experience.
